Roofing Contractors Partner with 
Nevada Contractors Insurance

The Roofing Contractors Association of Nevada (RCAN) announced a partnership with Nevada Contractors Insurance to lower their member’s cost for worker’s compensation insurance and support the association.

"Roofers can expect to get a lot of benefits when they go with NCI as part of the RCAN plan," said Coll Thomson, program coordinator for Nevada Contractors Insurance. As part of the partnership, RCAN members will get:

—Lobbying efforts;

—OSHA assistance

---A guarantee that the NCI will meet or beat any insurance plan.

Thomson said the RCAN program is similar to others already in place. "We already work with plumbers and framers and have proven results," he said. "Our Safety and Management Dividend plan is the strongest in the state."

Curtis Cummings, president of RCAN, said at the August meeting that the association looked forward to working with the insurance company, and that members were encouraged to quote their insurance with NCI.
